Mako Slingshot Jetboard

The Mako Slingshot jet board captures that feeling of carving big flowing turns and driving rail to rail hacks even when the water is flat. The carbon fibre hull has an authentic surfboard feel blending the characteristics of traditional surfboard design and modern performance. The outline is narrow at the nose and fuller through the tail, with extra width on the hip before the fins to increase planning efficiency and to help tighten those turns. The higher nose kick and wider hip opens up the transition point to the bottom curve optimising the connection with the water, offering stability and drive. Once up on your feet, you will start to feel the lift generated by the flat planes of the angled-V bottom, ensuring that you’re able to make some serious ground right from the start. The increase in tail rocker, and extension of the harder boxier rail length gives the Mako a lovely loose feeling, which is great for throwing down carving turns.
